Mixed Veterinary Surgeon Portglenone

Due to growth we are looking for 2 mixed Veterinary Surgeons to join our team.  We can accommodate truly mixed 50:50 or mixed with largely small animal bias.  Our small animal is based over 3 sites with a high medicine and soft tissue and orthopaedic case load availability.  Our farm team ranges from consultancy, herd health and fertility management.  We would love you to join our passionate RCVS approved team.  You would be working in a dynamic structured team towards 1st and 2nd opinion caseload with a structured career progression within a family environment.  We have excellent facilities including US scanner, endoscopy, digital x-ray and in house laboratory, support and CPD to help you achieve your goals. If you want to be doing a cruciate at 6 months qualified or in charge of herd health on farm, then we’re the practice for you with lots of support.

 The Role

The salary offered is £35,000 to £50,000 pro rata depending on experience.  There are opportunities to increase your salary if leadership roles are taken on.

Receptionist – Cookstown

We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated individual to work as part of our existing Receptionist team. The role is full time and will be to provide a high level of customer services to our clients, deal with general enquiries, assist in the day to day functioning of a busy veterinary practice office and help manage all business relating to reception. The normal working week will be Mon-Fri on a rota basis between 8.30am – 7pm. Saturday cover will also be required on a rota basis.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office based packages.
  • 2 years previous experience in an office/receptionist post or customer service environment
  • A keen interest in farm/domestic animals would also be an advantage.

Administrator – Cookstown

We are keen to appoint an experienced full-time Administrator to organise and manage a varied workload, pro-actively assisting the veterinary team with the running of a very busy veterinary practice. In this vital role you must have previous administration experience supporting a team, ability to prioritise tasks and using own initiative for problem solving.

Requirements:

  • Educated to at least A level or equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in an Administration based role preferably within a busy agricultural supply business or veterinary practice.
  • Have strong IT skills, be a confident user of Microsoft Office based packages.
