Diagnostics and Imaging

We have onsite digital x-ray, ultrasound and video endoscopy equipment, as well as extensive in-house laboratory where we can perform a variety wide variety  diagnostic tests and get very rapid results allowing speed of diagnosis and management especially in critical care cases.


Cardiology

We can perform diagnostic tests to detect any underlying heart condition including Blood pressure, ECG and colour flow doppler ultrasound and formulate suitable treatment plans for your pet. We can also work up and manage pericardial and thoracic effusions and chest drain management.


Internal medicine

Our team can diagnose and treat conditions such as Addison’s disease, autoimmune diseases, Cushing’s syndrome, diabetes mellitus, gastrointestinal disease, kidney failure, liver disease and respiratory disease.


Dermatology

We have a wide range of experience in treating both acute and chronic skin problems, including allergies and allergic skin disease.

Surgeries

All of our theatres have state of the art anaesthetic monitoring equipment and are positive pressure gas scavenged operating theatres.

We perform a wide range of complex surgery as well as routine operations. All pets are monitored by nurses and have a full range of analgesia pre during and post op. We use the latest techniques and equipment.


Cancer treatments

We offer a full range of treatment options, including medication, cryosurgery, chemotherapy, surgery, amputation and palliative care, and can discuss all the options available with you.


Orthopaedics

Fracture repair, Joint surgery and reconstruction, Internal and external fixation techniques, Corrective procedures, Spinal cord injuries and degenerative conditions. We have a high orthopaedic and trauma caseload and invite referrals from throughout the country.


Nurse clinics

Our nursing team can offer advice on diet, behaviour, socialisation, exercise, parasite control, diabetes management and senior pet care. They can also provide post-operative checks, second and vaccination boosters, microchipping, nail clips, dental checks, blood pressure monitoring and more.

Diet and nutrition

We stock a range of prescription diets, and our veterinary team will be happy to advise you on suitable diet plans for your pet. 


Grooming

Based at our Cookstown branch, our qualified dog and cat groomers can carry out grooming, nail clips, ear plucking and cleaning, medicated shampoos and anal gland expressions.


Pharmacy and prescriptions

To order repeat medication for your pet, please call your local branch. Please note that we require at least 24 hours’ notice to get your order ready, and that medication check-ups are required every three to six months for repeat prescriptions.


Puppy and kitten starter packages

Our packages include full initial vaccine courses, free health checks with a veterinary surgeon, an information booklet, four weeks of free pet insurance, parasitic treatments and free microchipping, along with plenty of advice. Get in touch to learn more.


Puppy parties

If your puppy is between the age of eight and 20 weeks and has had their first vaccinations, you’ll receive an invitation to one of our puppy parties, which allow for safe, early socialisation.
